The driving force of the ARF is scientist Baldevkrishan Sharma, a maverick who pioneered innovation and research on the cosmic-human relationship. Sharma's career graph has been equally studded with scientific achievements as well as entrepreneurial success. He was accorded the Rashtrapati Award for the patented STD Control Device in 1974. He founded Marshalls Wallpaper Co., which was very popular in the Indian market; later on, a company called Gratex Industries Ltd was also established by him. All his work regarding cosmology as scientific research goes beyond the conventionally perceived imagination.
The interest of Baldevkrishan in the very beginning of the universe- mainly on the Big Bang Theory-developed unique theories on relating human biology with the cosmos. Under his tutelage, ARF has been trying to develop a scientific explanation for the universe using the model of human beings. To date, he has been able to launch several initiatives, including the launching of CiiA, or Creative Ideas & Innovations In Action, to explore new ideas and innovations.
With over 55 years of research and development, Baldevkrishan is making progress in many fields of interest, which include cosmology, science fairs, and the development of research. He desires not only to know the universe but also to explain where humanity fits in the large scheme of things.
